Ok, im 15, and I got my first period in august ( a friday the 13th... I know I know..) then skipped until Oct. The didnt get it until the end of december, early january, like the 28 of dec. and then the end of jan, early feb, and havent gotton it since. i know its normal, but am I TOO normal?
Im just concerned, is it ok to skip a few months?
If this means anything, my mom g9ot hers at 18 and never skipped, and my aunts got it at 11-13.

I know that in the first year of having your period that it can be quite spontaneous (ex skipping afew months here and there). I believe if it lasts longer than that, you should tlak to your doctor about getting on an OTC to help regulate it.
my cousin's period does the same thing hers is because she only has one ovary. you should tell your mom but if you don't feel comfortable telling her you should make yourself an appt. at the clinic or doctor and talk to him about it.
When my periods started at age 13 it took a while for them to regulate and average out to 27-35 days (which is the normal range). So don't worry at all. If this keeps up past a year you might call and chat with an OB or nurse about it.
Do NOT take birth control for irregular periods. It may make you bleed less but it will actually make things worse because it will supress ovulation, which is a normal, natural and healthy thing for a women in her reproductive years to do.
Birth control is absolutely unecessary and over-prescribed for teen girls. Just be patient with your body. It's all good.

There is no reason to be nervous. I was the same way but if this doesn't help you could always go see a doctor to put your mind at ease.

Good to Bad Terms breakup. Will she ever miss me and come back? Do ex's gf miss good guys like me? ADVICE?
Me and this girl broke up after 3 1/2 months. (I 29 she 25) Initially she told me that she lost the spark. She wanted to stay friends badly!. I kept asking her i wanted her back sweetly. We fought over the next 3 weeks about getting back. She said things like you cant force it, give it time, etc.. Then she started to call me a crazy person cause i persisted and i know i did. Last night i get a text from her telling me the reasons for a break up. My charm got old. She was no longer attracted to me cause she is outta my league, she felt i was buying her love and my asskising got sickening and now she says she will never be friends and wants nothing to do with me. My honest answer is if you like him then go ahead and kiss him. But if his looks are really just not what you are looking for, then move on. Hey guys, I have been having trouble with my forehand at tennis, especially the inconsistency. Advice please?
Does anyone know what this wrist assist or raquet bracket thing is like which helps keep your wrist in position? I used to be much better that I am now but I had a pretty bad injury and didn't play for like 3 years and seem to have picked up loads of bad habits with my forehand. I'm pretty sure the take back loop isn't consistent enough and I have been trying to use the ball machine to sort but doesn't really seem to be working. Its really frustrating me. The only advice I can give you is try to make every stroke finish in the same position. Although tennis is about constantly making adjustments, you want to make the stroke as consistent as possible. Also, videotape yourself so you can watch what you are doing on your forehand now, and if you have a tape from 3 years ago (or just watch a pro's forehand) watch what you are doing differently. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Good luck!

ok i dated this guys for 2 yrs and it went off and on . It went good for the first month but then since he moved to a different place and he got back into doing drugs he has been emotional abusive called me names and always put me down. I have a tough time meeting women in my area. I am very shy, and it takes me a lot of time to work up the courage to talk to a woman I am interested in at graduate school or at the bar. I am also very smart, a bit on the dorky side too. I feel that might be a turn off to many girls my age, since I don't really go out and get hammered at the bar, and get loud and carry on, etc. I have triend internet sites, and also being hooked up on blind dates, but they don't turn out very well. I am very book smart, however I don't know much about the opposite sex...is there any hope for me?Advice for shy guys?

Be honest, but don't give out too much information. Mysterious is sexy sometimes! Humor is great too, but play on the safe side. Honestly, just be yourself. If you're genuine, you should have no problem.
Finally, once you think you've gotten to know her enough to feel comfortable spending alone time with her, ask her out on a date (not bf/gf yet... just a date) to see if you hit it off outside the classroom. Okay, so I will be a freshman this fall (yay me) and this summer I'll be going down to Colorado to visit some family. Okay, so I will be a freshman this fall (yay me) and this summer I'll be going down to Colorado to visit some family. Now my brother plays baseball with a ton of guys my age and he keeps making jokes about how they're all single, good looking, and how I'm only allowed to wear sweaters and sweats when I'm around them because he doesn't want them hitting on his lil sis. :) (Ah big brothers.)

First off, in my opinion, your hair is too short. I like your bangs though. Try growing it out so that 1 inch sits on your shoulder.
For makeup I would try some blush, mascara, and eyeshadow. Don't try to match it to your clothes exactly. Try one that is a little bit darker than your natural skin tone. It will make your eyes look big and bright.

I am wearing a gold, spagetti-strap dress to homecoming that comes about at my knee. I would consider going to someplace like macy's or somewhere where they do makeup and let them know that you are going to homecoming with a gold dress and see what they suggest. You can start clearing up acne with some acne wash like clean%26amp;clear and I would put your hair up in a cut updo.
I wouldn't go over the top with putting on any gold eye color but something natural and subtle, nail polish maybe do a french manicure, lip color not sure here I like natural colors for lips also or even do just a gloss to make them shine. Best thing I have ever found to help get rid of acne is to use Neosporin cream, I think they have a gel too but you don't want that you want the cream and put it on like you would acne treatment cream, maybe like 2-3 times a day. And just use concealer for any marks that have not gone away. No clue on the hair. Good luck and have fun!

Back in November i bought a 08 Acura RL but now I don't like it anymore because it gets pretty bad gas mileage (commute 45 miles round trip every day) and now I want to get rid of it and possibly a Highlander Hybrid. I don't want to lose insane amounts of money by trading in the RL so how do I solve my dilemma and get rid of it losing as little $$ as possible?Car trouble please help me guys?????? If you commute 45 miles to work everyday, I do NOT recommend a hybrid for you. A hybrid cost several thousands of dollars extra and the electric hybrid motor only works from 0-20 mph. Unless you drive really slow, I don't see a hybrid working for you. Trading the Acura in would be your best bet. You would save at leat $1500 alone on sales tax and selling a vehicle in that price range is very hard. Most people will spend a few extra bucks and buy a new one, so you will have to take a pretty good hit.Car trouble please help me guys?????? Need some good advice.?

hi all, first thanks for reading this, i have a 3 year old daughter, i am also in a relationship, however not with my daughters biological dad. On my daughters 3rd birthday he sent a birthday card through the post, hoping to make contact, it has however been 3 years. He sounds pretty genuine about being in her life, and has asked to start seeing her as soon as possible. (monday) Im just wondering if you think im doing the right thing by letting him see her, he has no drug addictions, he also had another child who he sees on a regulare basis.
However most of my family are not keen on the situation and say it should go to court ? Do you think im doing the right thing by trying 2 sort this mess out by ourselfs than getting the courts involved?Should i take my ex to court over visitation to his daughter? please guys need some advice?
If you take away not only his right to his daughter but your daughter's right to her father you are ruining the chances of normality for your child. I was never allowed to see my father as a child and through my life lacked a true father figure to look up to, trust me, she needs this. It's been three years. I would allow her to see him, but I would be cautious and make sure he wouldn't do something such as run off with her. I would encourage you to be there with them the entire time for the first visit, especially as he is a stranger to her.
It's silly to get the courts involved when you can come to an agreement on your own.

i don't think there is anything wrong with going through courts to set out some rules. he wasn't there for the first three years so the arrangements should make you comfortable. i would suggest some supervised visits at First because your daughter won't know him... just take it slow and see what makes you and your daughter comfortable. personally im having a rough patch with my ex and visitation. im going to court to try and smooth things out and set some rules so no one steps on anyones toes because those are the rules. letting him be in your daughters life is the best thing for her, just make sure it doesn't stir up trouble and make things worse by setting out some rules and boundary's
The courts protect everyone involved. However, going to court can also make things ugly even if the intention is just to clarify what you guy already do in terms of visitation.
I don’t think you NEED to go to court. You should write something up between you two, document it properly, and submit it to the courts. That way nobody has to be dragged in and out of court, waiting on the proper information. You guys can do it yourselves (if you feel you can agree) and submit it to make it official. If you can’t agree, either attempt mediation (where you guys discuss needs/wants with a third party) and then write up the parenting plan and submit that to be official/legal. And if you can’t agree with a third party, and it gets ugly, then yes, it has to go to court.
We came to an agreement outside of court, in mediation. It took 3 attempts, but we agreed eventually. It worked out well, kept “costs” low to what could have been very expensive, and we’re all semi-happy. LOL.
That’s just my take on it. Either way you go about it, you’re still documenting and making it official in a legal sense. I just know from SO MANY PEOPLE that court usually turns ugly. I can’t really think of an instance where it was positive.

Hi - you can but give it a go - but I think the first visitation needs to be on your terms with you present - at no time should he be on his own with your daughter until she gets to know him better and until you know that you can trust him fully.
If it doesn't work out then take it to the courts but I would for the sake of your daughter knowing her father give it a go first - If Monday isn't suitable for you then make it the first date suitable for both of you and don't be pushed into it otherwise. He has a lot of making up to do to!

i suggest yes, you never know because down the road situation may arise where he'll want to take her out of town or set a day where you may make arrangements with him, then decide not to allow him to see her for your benefits. court fees might come out, but believe me, in the long run, those fees will seem nothing to you once the arrangements have been met. if you feel like you mentioned, that your girl is in no danger with him, then you may also ';add-on'; future visitation rights. for example, when i went to the attorney generals office to set up an appointment, we added on the reg. court orders that i would be able and allow to see-visit-obtain guardship to my son ANY and WHATEVER day i wish (pending my ex-wifes approval) that means that i wouldnt have to wait for every-other weekend, holidays, and summer hours in order for me to see him. all i had to do was call my ex and make arrangements. believe me, the judge loved that idea, he immdedialy approved it. i strongly suggest that you do set up a visitation log and arrangements with the state. good luck with this idea. (F.Y.I. these arrangements were made in the state of Texas)

If you take away not only his right to his daughter but your daughter's right to her father you are ruining the chances of normality for your child. I was never allowed to see my father as a child and through my life lacked a true father figure to look up to, trust me, she needs this. It's been three years. I would allow her to see him, but I would be cautious and make sure he wouldn't do something such as run off with her. I would encourage you to be there with them the entire time for the first visit, especially as he is a stranger to her.
It's silly to get the courts involved when you can come to an agreement on your own.

i don't think there is anything wrong with going through courts to set out some rules. he wasn't there for the first three years so the arrangements should make you comfortable. i would suggest some supervised visits at First because your daughter won't know him... just take it slow and see what makes you and your daughter comfortable. personally im having a rough patch with my ex and visitation. im going to court to try and smooth things out and set some rules so no one steps on anyones toes because those are the rules. letting him be in your daughters life is the best thing for her, just make sure it doesn't stir up trouble and make things worse by setting out some rules and boundary's
The courts protect everyone involved. However, going to court can also make things ugly even if the intention is just to clarify what you guy already do in terms of visitation.
I don’t think you NEED to go to court. You should write something up between you two, document it properly, and submit it to the courts. That way nobody has to be dragged in and out of court, waiting on the proper information. You guys can do it yourselves (if you feel you can agree) and submit it to make it official. If you can’t agree, either attempt mediation (where you guys discuss needs/wants with a third party) and then write up the parenting plan and submit that to be official/legal. And if you can’t agree with a third party, and it gets ugly, then yes, it has to go to court.
We came to an agreement outside of court, in mediation. It took 3 attempts, but we agreed eventually. It worked out well, kept “costs” low to what could have been very expensive, and we’re all semi-happy. LOL.
That’s just my take on it. Either way you go about it, you’re still documenting and making it official in a legal sense. I just know from SO MANY PEOPLE that court usually turns ugly. I can’t really think of an instance where it was positive.

Hi - you can but give it a go - but I think the first visitation needs to be on your terms with you present - at no time should he be on his own with your daughter until she gets to know him better and until you know that you can trust him fully.
If it doesn't work out then take it to the courts but I would for the sake of your daughter knowing her father give it a go first - If Monday isn't suitable for you then make it the first date suitable for both of you and don't be pushed into it otherwise. He has a lot of making up to do to!

i suggest yes, you never know because down the road situation may arise where he'll want to take her out of town or set a day where you may make arrangements with him, then decide not to allow him to see her for your benefits. court fees might come out, but believe me, in the long run, those fees will seem nothing to you once the arrangements have been met. if you feel like you mentioned, that your girl is in no danger with him, then you may also ';add-on'; future visitation rights. for example, when i went to the attorney generals office to set up an appointment, we added on the reg. court orders that i would be able and allow to see-visit-obtain guardship to my son ANY and WHATEVER day i wish (pending my ex-wifes approval) that means that i wouldnt have to wait for every-other weekend, holidays, and summer hours in order for me to see him. all i had to do was call my ex and make arrangements. believe me, the judge loved that idea, he immdedialy approved it. i strongly suggest that you do set up a visitation log and arrangements with the state. good luck with this idea. (F.Y.I. these arrangements were made in the state of Texas)

I-129fs are usually processed pretty quickly, but the I-130 can take a few months. GUYS - HELP!!! I need your advice about a guy date!!!?
I have been dating this guy for about three months...very casually. He is going thru the tailend of a divorce, so we both decided that we would wait to get into the BF/GF talks until he is ready. I am okay with that.
Lately he has been a bit distant, due to the divorce hearing, money whoas %26amp; kids. I am okay with him working through things
SO here is my question. I haven't seen him in a few weeks and tomorrow we have a date to see each other. I will get to his place about 1 or 2pm... and we have all day and night.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO? I want it to be fun and something that will keep his mind occupied. Got any creative ideas? We live near the beach, don't want to spend a lot of money, sex is already in the mix for the day! :) lol
