i recently looked through my bf's text messages and i saw a text he sent to a girl he used to have a flight with(they hooked up for about a month). he told her this exactly: ';s***'s gettin old real quick, i told her i'm staying in alone tonight... come over.'; i confronted him about it, as i was p***** off, and he said he meant our arguing is getting old real quick, not the relationship, and he said he called her over to buy some stuff from him(cuz he sells.) i still didnt believe him, so he called her and put her on speaker phone... he was like please tell my gf im only calling u cuz u wanna buy stuff from me, not cuz i wanna hook up with u... and she agreed. i still think that text he sent her is so messed up and i have trouble trusting him. what do u guys think??Is my BF LYING or telling the truth?? He is lying to you. When he realized you found out about the text, he tried to make something up so that you would not accuse him of cheating on you. It seems to me like you should dump him.

Okay, first of all, he lied when he told you he wanted to be alone.





Secondly, seriously, trust your gut instinct. As an outsider, it sounds to me like he panicked when you found it and stretched the story. Pretend he called the girl, put her on speaker phone, and ONLY said, ';Please tell my girlfriend why I asked you to come over';, would she really have said that she wanted to buy some stuff?





A guy like that seriously isn't worth it. Even if he DID call her to hook up with her, he could've at least manned up to it rather than making up some bs story.
