Advice needed??girls guys please help with this!!?

i like this girl at my uni..she talked to me once other than that we just say hi when we see eachother.im shy but i wana know how do i talk to her and get to know her better and ask for her number or ask her out??how do i approach her?what should i do?im not sure if she even likes me!.iv never really done this before so i really need some good advice..thanks yall.Advice needed??girls guys please help with this!!?
It's simple man. Grow a pair! You're over-thinking the situation. It's like Jerry Garcia said, ';Sometimes the cards ain't worth a dime, if you don't lay them down';. That means that you never know what can become of something unless you go for it, in other words. Try to imagine that she's the only one in the classroom with you. You're not just gonna sit there for an hour or so and not say anything, right? I would hope that if you were in that situation for real that you would have a ';don't give a ****'; attitude and go talk to her. Chicks don't dig shy guys, man. It's okay to be a little shy but most chicks who go for a somewhat timid guy are attracted because of how different they are. Most girls want a unique guy, and they all want funny too. But before I get off topic, you gotta go talk to her. What do you have to lose? Nothing? That's right, nothing. You only have experience and possibly a gf to gain. Put her on a friend level and not some girl you have a crush on. Once you get her comfortable around you and get the vibes that she's diggin' you then you can worry about asking her ';out';. Unless you're like Justin Timberlake or something, you can't just approach a girl in a way that lets her know that you ';wanna hold her hand';, if you know what I mean. Maybe in a bar a club but not before or after class. You will have to hang out with her outside of school to accomplish your goal. So goal #1 is, go talk to her. Goal #2 is, befriend her. Goal #3 is, flirt and eventually, sooner than later, ask her if she wants to hang out. Goal #4 is, let her know you like her by holding her hand. If she pulls away then go back to goal #2. Don't be pushy with her but you don't want to wait too long. If there is any indication that she likes you then you get on top of that. Next time you meet her say a little more than hi, aske her how varsity is then maybe say something like 'i'm rushing somewhere, can i have your number, will call you later'. She wont refuse, i tell you
try and talk to her.do not try to send mails or ask for her phone no.may be u can meet at a cafe,first ask her .may be u can call her on your birthday
