So i told him i wanteed a break for 1 week ( not break up, just not hang around as much and have our own space, and yes, I still do like him A LOT, im not playing i swear.), and when we get back together this friday, should i say ';thank you for going along with this and respecting my decision';, and give him a kiss on the cheek? he REALLY didn't want to take a break, and he was like depressed because he is very clingy, but after the break, i just wanted to show him that i still do like him A LOT! guys, (and girls) is this a good way, or is it pushy and weird?

aw, don't worry. i think your idea is good, maybe instead of kiss on cheek, maybe a peck on lips which really shows you like him. i think it is ok if you do it like you say maybe you and him go do something and like you said tell him you appreciate him respecting your choice to give you some time alone.

I think you feel guilty about why you wanted to take a break at the first place. You should think about that and address it. If your boyfriend is clingy then he's like me and I bet he was burning when you wanted that break. But no actually your bf isn't like me because dating you for 6 months means he isn't scared of commitment. I am. I sabotage my relationships with girls because I'm so passionate that I can't stick with one. I have short attention span and Its not my fault because where i work the cutest girls come in and they all just sit there and eye me. Not to brag but its hard when you feel like all the girls in the world are falling in love with you. But back to you... If you're really honest and if you didnt screw around with any other guy during that break, then you're a good gf. And if I was your bf....I'd have been wantning that break for a while. And when it's over I'd look into your eyes and fall in love with you all over again.
