so i was really good friends with this girl for a while but she was in a relationship and then when her relationship started to fall i was kinda in one but then it broke apart and we have been talking all the time but while i was in a relationship and she wasnt she was telling me how she kinda has a thing with this other guy but that hes weird and shes not sure if its gunna work out. then i told her that im kinda interested in her and she seemed happy to hear it and said that i have a really good chancee but she just cant be in a relationship right now which i can respect. but my question is how much time will she need or how can i ask her how much time she will need without sounding to clingy or anything. any advice will help thankssGirl says she needs time to get over her ex? needs guys and girls advice?
It depends on her and how quickly she can get over her ex. I mean, even if you ask her, you can really put a time frame on things like that. It could be months or just weeks. So with that, you are just going to have to wait it out and continue to be there for her. Good luck.Girl says she needs time to get over her ex? needs guys and girls advice?
Give her some time about 2 weeks and then ask her out, if she is hesitant then she still has feelings for her ex.

There is no specific time limit for it, but you must give her time and not pressure her. Just continue to be her friend, make sure she knows you're there for her, then there likely won't be a whole lot of time she needs to get over it.
Be careful, though. I tried this with my best (girl) friend, and while it had great potential, her ex's influence was just much greater then mine. So, just understand that everything might not go your way.
If you care about this girl, it shouldn't matter how much time she needs. What's the hurry? Blue balls?
Besides, you should be 'tuned in' to her enough to not even have to ASK that question! When she is ready, she will make it known....
If you are worth a damn, she will not forget about your offer. Just chill out and let her sort it out on her own. She'll love you for it.
stay away... think of it like you cornered a stray dog and although it's an invitingly cute little puppy, it's showing it's fangs and growling.
chances are, she was just telling you that as a nice way of saying no. trust me, if she was really into you, she would drop everything and get with you.
so best thing to do is move on and find a chick that you can get her interest without being in the dreaded ';friend zone';. trust me bro, I've been thru it.
